fruit for eyes

The following list of produce contains fruits for eye health – fruits that are good sources of at least one nutrient that benefits your eyes.
There are many others not listed here that will provide a small benefit to your eye health, which is, of course, better than no benefit at all, and definitely better than a diet full of fat and sugar.
Acerolas
Acerolas, also known as the Barbados or West Indies cherries, are an excellent source of Vitamin C, and a fair source of beta-carotene.

Blueberries and bilberries are an excellent source of anthocyanins, which help with night blindness, and have a positive effect on cataracts and macular degeneration.

Cantaloupe is a good source of beta-carotene and Vitamin C.
Guavas
Kiwis
Kiwis are a good source of Vitamin C.
Lemons
Lemons are a good source of Vitamin C, and a fair source of lutein and zeaxanthin.
Persimmons
Persimmons are a good source of beta-carotene and Vitamin C. Choose ones that are soft all over or you will discover the puckering effect that persimmons have on the mucous membranes of the mouth.
